Designing for PTPN I means more than presenting figures and financial statements—it’s about capturing the spirit of a state-owned enterprise that upholds integrity, resilience, and national value. The annual report was thoughtfully crafted to reflect these core values: strong, formal, and trustworthy, yet still approachable. A deep navy was chosen as the primary color to convey stability and professionalism, while green accents signal the company’s enduring commitment to sustainability. This report goes beyond aesthetics—it is a visual language that transforms institutional identity into a meaningful, credible reading experience.
The Problem
Corporate reports often fall into the trap of being visually rigid and text-heavy—documents to skim, not to engage with. For PTPN I, the challenge was clear: how can a highly detailed, regulation-bound report remain accessible, engaging, and visually coherent to a wider audience? In a report filled with metrics, charts, and sector-specific narratives, how do we ensure the message stays human-centered, clear, and compelling?
The Solution
Our approach centered on clarity, consistency, and a deep understanding of corporate identity. We employed a modern serif typeface to project authority without compromising readability. Visual harmony was achieved through structured grid layouts, modular icons, and strategic whitespace—guiding the reader’s eye effortlessly across complex information. Data was not just displayed; it was curated into stories, using infographics, simplified timelines, and visual patterns that highlighted trends and insights. Each design element served a purpose: to enhance understanding, support storytelling, and respect the reader’s time and attention. The result is a report that informs, engages, and reflects the evolving narrative of PTPN I—professional at its core, human in its delivery.
